Unifrog is an online platform designed to help pupils explore their post-secondary education and career options. It provides tools for researching universities, colleges, apprenticeships, and other opportunities worldwide.
Unifrog offers features such as university and course comparison, career exploration, personalised recommendations, and application support. It aims to streamline the process of discovering and applying to various educational and career pathways, ultimately assisting students in making informed decisions about their future.
All pupils and staff should have access to Unifrog. If you have trouble logging in or you do not think you have an account, please email Miss Smith at jsmith@scd.herts.sch.uk.
On this page you can easily get to the 'Resources' page, see any outstanding tasks by your pupils, sign up to upcoming webinars and switch to the pupil side of the plaform.
This is the page the pupils see when they log in to Unifrog and as staff, you have the ability to use the platform the same why they do. At the top of the page, pupils will see how much of their Unifrog profile is complete and how they compare to their peer group.
As scroll down the page you'll see that you can add charts to monitor a range of things like the most popular career areas amongst pupils or how many pupils are interested in STEM.
The further you scroll down, you will also see how each form in each year is performing against the rest of their year group in terms of Unifrog profile completion.
These are some of the tools which can really help pupils think about what they might like to do next. The quizzes are particular useful starting points for pupils who have absolutely no idea of what career they might like to do.
The Careers Library and Subjects Library tools can be enormously helpful when pupils are picking their A Level options as they can input the pupils they are thinking of taking so see what subjects and careers would be open to them beyond school.
Finally, at the bottom of the teacher page, you can also see the Daily Feed which shows who is logging in and how they have been interacting with the platform.
Further down the page, pupils also access to tools that can help them record their skills, activities and achievements. These are particularly useful when pupils come to write their personal statements, CVs and cover letters as all the supporting information is already being stored here.
The searching for opportunities tools are helpful to pupils who are looking at options beyond school as they can create a personalised shortlist of colleges, universities and apprenticeships.
At the bottom of this page are a range of tools to help pupils write their UCAS personal statement, provide notes for teachers writing references and help them create a CV.
